Q. What are you passionate about?
A. Many things, walks on the beach, being with people that I love, sunsets, travelling, reading, health and the St Kilda Football Club.
Q. What do you represent or how would you describe yourself?
A. Slightly crazy, maybe old fashioned and high morals. I have a lot of integrity and I really care about what happens in the world and especially the environment because it feels like we are destroying our beautiful Earth. I am concerned about the fact that people seem to be losing respect for each other and they seem to want everything and do little for it.
Q. How can you love yourself more today?
A. Stop negative self-talk, believe in myself more and have more faith in myself. I find I talk myself down and belittle myself a lot. I often feel self-conscious of myself and it would be good if I could stop worrying about what other people think of me. Lately I have been using affirmations to improve my self-love and the truth is it is a work in progress because my feelings about myself change from day to day.
Q. Are you living the life of your dreams, if not why not?
A. Not at this stage but I am working on it. Certain ventures have not always worked out the way I wanted them to. Life is about learning and we grow from our experiences, it’s about the journey not the destination so no matter what I am doing or where I am at, I choose to enjoy my life and never give up trying.
Q. What is your ideal life?
A. To have the health, freedom and the finances to be able to do what I want whenever I want. Most importantly, I want to have meaning and purpose to enjoy the gift of life.
Q. Is there something you’re still holding onto and is it time to let it go?
A. A lack of self-belief is something I definitely need to let go of.
Q. What would you do if you knew you were going to succeed no matter what?
A. I know I want meaning and purpose in my life, this is what is most important to me. The problem is I don’t exactly know what I can do or want to do to achieve this on a deep and profound level.
Q. How important are your goals to you?
A. My goals are very important to me as they are what give me my direction in life.
Q. Are you settling for less than what you are worth and capable of?
A. Yes, but that’s not necessarily by choice. I believe this is a work in progress. As you improve your self-worth, your abilities grow enabling you to enjoy and achieve what you really want out of life. The more we have faith in ourselves the easier it is get up and dust yourself off when faced with certain challenges that can affect our self-worth.
Q. What is your biggest struggle in life?
A. Supporting a football team that is constantly the underdog and struggles to win a grand final. You might laugh at this but I love footy as it provides not only entertainment but I have met a lot of friends and had a great time so it’s personal to me. Everything in life can’t be serious.
Q. What is it you feel most guilty about in your life?
A. Guilty is a strong word, however a regret might be that I don’t have a better relationship with my brother, my only sibling.
